Meeuw, the mobile living room – for sale
The Hamburg barge "Meeuw" is a real maritime Hamburg style icon. It was built in 1920 at the Krupp shipyard in Kiel. Partly welded, partly riveted. In Hamburg it was used to transport shipyard workers to the docks. In 1970 it was sold to a Rotterdam shipping company and towed barges in the harbor. In 2020, the Marina Düsseldorf acquired the ship and had it lovingly restored at the SRF shipyard in Harlingen.
